About Dr. Nilton Deus Medina

Dr. Nilton Deus Medina is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon based in Atlanta, Georgia, known for blending surgical precision with artistic vision to deliver natural, refined outcomes. His clinical expertise spans a wide spectrum of procedures, including breast augmentation, abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), liposuction, Brazilian butt lift, fat transfer, and advanced reconstructive microsurgery.

A distinguished alumnus of the University of Massachusetts, Dr. Medina graduated magna cum laude before pursuing his medical degree at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. His postgraduate training includes a residency at Brown University’s Warren Alpert Medical School and a highly competitive microsurgery fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania—one of the nation’s premier academic institutions.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Medina has performed thousands of procedures with exceptional outcomes. He served for over a decade as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Boston University, where he trained the next generation of plastic surgeons and contributed extensively to the field through research, leadership, and clinical innovation.

Dr. Medina holds active surgical privileges at both Northside Hospital and Emory University Hospital Midtown in Atlanta.

Originally from Cape Verde, he brings a multicultural perspective to his practice and connects deeply with a diverse patient population. He is fluent in French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Cape Verdean Creole. Outside of the operating room, he is an accomplished painter and calligrapher, and enjoys golf and international travel.
